Stainless Steel Bearing

Stainless steel bearings are designed for applications requiring corrosion resistance, hygiene, and durability in challenging environments. Manufactured primarily from martensitic stainless steels such as AISI 440C or austenitic grades for enhanced corrosion performance, they offer good hardness, wear resistance, and stable dimensional accuracy. Compared to standard carbon steel bearings, stainless steel bearings provide superior resistance to moisture, chemicals, and oxidation, making them suitable for food processing, medical equipment, marine applications, and chemical industries. While their load capacity and hardness may be slightly lower than high-carbon chromium steel bearings, they deliver reliable performance in environments where corrosion protection and cleanliness are critical, reducing maintenance frequency and extending service life under corrosive conditions.
