Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical Roller Bearings are self-aligning rolling-element bearings with two rows of barrel-shaped rollers and a common spherical outer raceway, designed to support heavy radial loads and moderate axial loads while compensating for shaft misalignment in demanding industrial applications.

1. Inner Ring Function:
  • Mounted on the shaft
  • Provides two raceways for the rollers
  • Transfers load from the shaft to the rolling elements

2. Outer Ring Function:

3. Spherical Rollers Function:

Spherical roller bearings conform to ISO 15 standards, and common series include 213, 222, 223, 230, 231, 232, 240, and 241. Parameters include inner diameter (d), outer diameter (D), width (B), basic dynamic load rating (C), basic static load rating (C0), limiting speed, and weight.

Parameter Description

Model suffixes: CA/CC (brass/steel cage), E (high load-bearing design), K (conical bore, 1:12), W33 (lubricating oil groove and oil hole).

Clearance: Standard is CN, C4 or C3 is commonly used for vibrating machinery.
